'The Revenant', la más nominada a los Oscar

En una ceremonia transmitida por Internet, directivos de la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas de Hollywood y los directores Guillermo del Toro y Ang Lee y el actor John Krasinski revelaron el anuncio de los nominados de las 24 categorías.

Primero se comunicaron cuáles son las películas en categorías como Mejor Película Animada, Mejor Vestuario y Mejor documental, entre otros. Minutos después fue el turno de Mejor película, Mejor Actor y Actriz, y Mejor director.
